Stinger is a utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

Alternatively, McAfee Stinger Portable is also available.

Portable Application Launcher organizes shortcuts into groups and categories. It's accessed via the system tray or user-defined hotkeys. Several styles and some languages are included. It can also be used as a portable desktop. PAL is capable of automatically installing PortableApps.com Format (PAF) applications, as well as many entries here on PortableFreeware. An included browser for downloading apps can be used with Universal Extractor and a simplistic updater module.

The program includes several extras not included in other launcher programs including favorites bar, "most-used apps" menu, file manager & search, simple RSS & iCal readers, timer, and more.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

NetWorx helps collect bandwidth usage data and measure the speed of your Internet or any other network connection. NetWorx can help you identify possible sources of network problems, ensure that you do not exceed the bandwidth limits specified by your ISP, or track down suspicious network activity characteristic of malicious programs/hacks.

The program allows you to monitor all your network connections or a specific network connection (such as Ethernet or PPP) only. The incoming and outgoing traffic is represented on a line chart and logged to a file, so that you can always view statistics about your daily, weekly and monthly bandwidth usage and dialup duration. Reports can be exported to a variety of formats, such as HTML, MS Word and Excel, for further analysis.

Defraggler is a defragmentation tool that works on files, folders or the entire disk drive. After analysis, Defraggler lists all the fragmented files on the drive, as well as their locations on the disk. You can then choose to select individual files to defragment.

Package includes a 32-bit and a 64-bit version, as well as a CLI version. Not recommended for SSD drives or other flash-based media.

Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses Microsoft's own Speech API 4 and 5, but lets you fine tune various voice parameters, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

Balabolka can also save the synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).

Also includes batch conversion tools from of a wide variety of document formats to audio or plain text and a file compare tool, file splitter, and screen magnification window.

AppRemover supports a thorough uninstallation of hundreds of Antivirus and AntiSpyware Applications. Additionally, the program will do extra cleanup work for previous uninstallations and failed uninstalls. The complete support charts are listed and updated with each new release.

Recuva (pronounced "recover") helps recover files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players.

The program has a friendly "wizard"-style set up for finding documents by type (pictures, documents, etc.) or an advanced mode to search manually through all deleted files.

OutlookStatView scans your Outlook mailbox, and display a general statistics about the users that you communicate via emails. For each user/email, the following information is displayed: The number of outgoing messages that you sent to the user (separated by to/cc/bcc), the number of incoming message that the user sent to you, the total size of messages sent by the user, the email client software used by this user, and the time range that you send/received emails with the specified user.

FileMenu Tools customizes the context menu of Explorer, adding built-in utilities for file and folder operations. Users can add customized commands that run external applications, copy/move to a specific folder or delete specific file types; customize the "Send to..." submenu; and enable/disable the commands which are added by other applications to the context menu.
